Thread: Adobe Flashplayer for 3DS!

Why didn't Nintendo bring Adobe to 3DS? I wan't to watch video's on 3DS!

Licensing fees. Just like Wii U does not have Blu-ray or DVD playback. I don't care since I can watch videos on the computer, and don't need another reason to drain my 1 hour 3DS battery.

I have a reloud-cable for my 3DS. And adobe is free I believe.

Eh... Trailers instead of youtube is OK to me.
I want trailers more than youtube... Like Team Nintendo said... I can watch vids on the computer.
Same here, and on the wii through internet channel.

I have 2 computers, witch includes 1 laptop, and I do all the surfing on my 3DS. I even posted this with my 3DS. I need adobe.

I would've liked to see adobe on the 3ds but they didn't put it in there end of story they probably won't.

I have a PC.

well i would have to agree in fact i tried watching a video on youtube and that's when i found here nintendo team in your next 3ds update add a website where we can at least watch video game related stuff

I voted yes. Although it probably won't be happening soon if at all, I'd still rather see it than not.

i want adobe on 3ds seriously dont kno anybody who doesnt.....

I am looking foward for HTML5 to take off so videos/games can be made for just about any device, just like normal webpages with javascript.

Well, flash player in 3DS would be useable for me. Sometimes, when I'm on holidays or smth. like that and I've got Wi-Fi hotspot it's frustrating that I can't watch trailers etc. so I voted yes.

It would be an awesome feature to have. I don't know the particulars of getting it to work on 3DS browser. Judging from the fact that adobe discontinued flash development for mobile completely I fear this will NEVER happen. Maybe from the hack/dev community but wouldn't hold my breathe

Sounds like you need a Android smartphone to get your adobe flash

Stop over at Android Forums (run by the same people as here, we just got over a million members over the weekend) and read up on some phones

i would love it if nintendo would add a flash player so we can watch videos i have no use for the internet on my ds without the ability to watch youtube and without it i cant watch youtube videos because my computer just broke

I said yes because I don't see why not, but Nintendo probably saves a lot of money by not including these "extra" features. A small percentage of people will REALLY want it and a large percentage of people already have a different device they would prefer to use to achieve the same thing.

I mean it would be cool, sure. But really, using the browser in the 3DS is quite painful. It is sluggish and looks like the browsers I used to use in my old cellphones (back when there were no REAL smartphones). I usually avoid using it anyways. Displaying Flash content would actually make it a bit slower. Maybe Nintendo just decided to take it out of the picture to avoid making its browser slower than it already is?

I would like to see a youtube app for the 3DS HTML5 support would do me.

I don't really see any reason why the 3DS would have Adobe Flash, I use my smartphone for everything (even posting on these forums) so it would just be a feature that would drive the price up that I wouldn't really use. Wow I'm the only one who voted no, I guess that makes me the 1% lol
